Method 1: Attaching from an existing file on your computer. For a single student go to the children tab in the account screen. For multiple students go to the children tab in the report screen and pull up a list of children by entering a period in the bottom and pressing proccess. You can now press on the Attach Picture column by each child's row and you will be able to choose a picture file already on your computer for the current student. If a picture already exists it will ask if it should overwrite it. If overwritten it will also keep a copy of the previous one with the date it was overwritten.
Method 2: Capturing the picture using a webcam. For a single student go to the children tab in the account screen. For multiple students go to the children tab in the report screen and pull up a list of children by entering a period in the bottom and pressing proccess. You can now press on the Take Picture column by each child's row and a camera screen will open up. It will display the name and grade of the student on top of the screen. [The first time you use the software on a computer you would need to choose the camera menu and select Add New Camera. Choose camera from list and press OK.] When you see the picture on the right side click on the snap button. If you like to picture click on the save button. If a picture already exists it will ask if it should overwrite it. If overwritten it will also keep a copy of the previous one with the date it was overwritten.
Method 3: Inserting file in correct folder. You need to put in a jpeg image in the Attachments\Students folder of the database. The file name should be StudentNum.JPG. So for student num 1432 the file name should be "1432.jpg".
To view the picture click on the View Picture button in the student row. You can also view the student in the Student Picture Report. You can also request tech support to attach the picture to any other custom report.
