is there a way to include in parent lists accounts that have student flags or type & value that are not flagged

Question

We have a query built on which students should get admission cards, this is based on parent balances, certain staff and if children are on certain programs. So there could be a family that has one child that was issued an Admission card because that kid is in a program that triggers that he should get and there could be a second child in the family that shouldn’t get.

How can we query to get a parent list of ones that require follow ups because one or more kids didn’t get the card.

If we exclude an account that has the admission card type and value or single flag printed, it will exclude the above mentioned account because there is a child that has that flag or type and value.

An option to INCLUDE and account that doesn’t have this flag or value would resolve this. This comes up many times when we want to get a list of people that don’t have a certain flag flagged which can be different per different children in the family.

Use the school roster report. This will give the parent with the children that still need admission cards.

whatabout ability to be able to do robo-calls or text messages to these parents?

Create a Family list. Go to mail merge children and click on the plus column on top to add all these accounts to the list. Now just add the list to the query. When done just delete the list.

Thanks, i guess it will work but this tedious everytime we need this, it would be so much simplere if we could include the lack of a flag.
