I am trying to change to Q3 and it is now requiring the password again.

Could you please change this?

It appears I did not need the password. Sorry for the interruption.

If I do this in the web portal or in JL software?

I tried to change things on the web portal and it requires a password that I do not have.

When I put in a password I receive a runtime error:

Runtime Error

Description: An application error occurred on the server. The current custom error settings for this application prevent the details of the application error from being viewed remotely (for security reasons). It could, however, be viewed by browsers running on the local server machine.

Details: To enable the details of this specific error message to be viewable on remote machines, please create a <customErrors> tag within a "web.config" configuration file located in the root directory of the current web application. This <customErrors> tag should then have its "mode" attribute set to "Off".

<!-- Web.Config Configuration File --> <configuration> <system.web> <customErrors mode="Off"/> </system.web> </configuration>

Notes: The current error page you are seeing can be replaced by a custom error page by modifying the "defaultRedirect" attribute of the application's <customErrors> configuration tag to point to a custom error page URL.

<!-- Web.Config Configuration File --> <configuration> <system.web> <customErrors mode="RemoteOnly" defaultRedirect="mycustompage.htm"/> </system.web> </configuration>

What period do you want to change it to?
commented Feb 3, 2016 by Admin
You can change it now. No password needed.

It still will not let me change without a password. I want to make sure that it is changed to Q2 for all the teachers so that they don't have to worry about changing it themselves.

Only one person needs to change it.  It gets changed for everyone. We now also removed the password requirement for the semester type. Before we only did it for period.

So you now change it to Q2 without a password.
