Period start when year actually starts 9/7

Question

How is the period supposed to be set up for next year, if the school is actually starting on 9/7, it would seem proper to have it correct in the system, but it seems that this will affect the contract when charged by month. Perhaps there should be a separate contract period from student period?

To clarify this there are multiple issues here

our financial year is from 9/1 - 8/30  our educational year is each year different and each division different some years we start 8/18 and some divisions we start 8/20 and some latter.

we use Financial Dates for contracts ,Statements ,Reports, viewing screens by period and if we don't enter a date it uses the default period date

we use Educational dates for Attendance and its a different each division when they start so to count their attendance or absentee's

so in other words even for educational by itself we need different start dates for different divisions

would it be possible for JL to have separate period dates for each Division in educational and separate for financial ?

Added. You now can create separate start and end dates for each Location and/or Season. You enter it under the period screen. First choose a period and then enter the times for this period on the bottom right. You can enter a season or you can leave season empty. Same with location. If this is for all locations you can leave location empty or choose All. Below we have pictured how it is entered for a location with and without seasons.

This is very helpful, like that the parents will see the exact date when their kids will be in camp

We have different season dates for campers and day camper, is it possible to add also the option to select which type or company it should be these dates?
