We are very happy to see that our general approval rating is 4.13 of 5. And More than 80% are Extremely likely to recommend our software to a friend or colleague.

We did appreciate all your comments and will be reaching out to anyone that we need to follow up with. We will also update some internal procedures in order to get the approval rating to 100%.

  8. In all the years I've been using the software, I've had very few complaints, and even those were minor details. I'm extremely satisfied with the programs and their features and highly recommend the software to all who ask!!

  20. I am generally satisfied with the software, however there are a bunch of kinks that need to be worked out. Amongst them, many of the reports don't work correctly without some minor tweaking to the code.
  21. JLS offers all computer services a school needs and will WORK WITH YOU!

I find the software to be robust and extremely customizable.  It is overall fairly easy to understand once you become familiar with the product.  The customer service is great.  At this point, I have developed a good relationship with some of the technicians and find them to be extremely competent and helpful.

  24. I'm giving my honest opinion as I'm sure you want it. Software is very comprehensive and really offers alot. Support staff are realy very nice and mean to help but are limited in higher level knowledge. Once we need to get to the higher level of support and developer, the experience is not nearly as good although the knowledge of that support team is fantastic. (Moderator Comment: This Q&A is actually moderated by the development team. You need to simple post and you get a response almost instantly.)

My issue with JL is that it is not very user friendly and intuitive.  I haven't surveyed other options recently so I don't know if there is another option out there that has successfully addressed this issue.  So I hesitate to recommend with absolute certainty as I don't know if there may not be a better option.
  33. We are very satisfied with your program, the biggest con for us is that we need to use a separate program for grading, report cards, and many more aspects for the educational department. (Moderator Comment: We actually do have grading, report cards and everything needed for the educational dept. Customer was not aware of it.)

JLS’s products are quite comprehensive and powerful and allow us to accomplish much of what we need to do to fundraise, collect tuition, provide grading and attendance support and otherwise manage the yeshiva. However, the interface is not intuitive, buggy (though improving) and often inconsistent. Logging is weak and it is too easy to damage important data. Security is not well implemented.
  40. For an institution like ours I would recommend it with the above qualifications. For simpler schools it is overkill.
