How do i enter fields when creating a letter in fundraising/reports?

I am creating a letter that will be used with a statement report. i'm in the letter tab and i want to enter the fields for example name, amount pledged etc. how can i bring the fields in?

select from the drop-down and insert

You also need to have tech support add does fields to your report. Not all fields is available in all reports. Hebrew Fields is more complex.
