Ability to search "students name" in the search tab

Added option to search also by student First name. So if you enter Last,First It will look for student name too if the Student Check box is checked in.

it seems that the fuzzy option works only for the accounts name not for the students name, can we have it for the students name ?

And while searching, it should also search the students legal name.

We don't have fuzzy for first names at all. Only last names.

Not really, this isn't the place to search or work with a student. Please use courses for this. It actually doesn't even show you a list of students, only accounts.

so in a case i am searching for a student by the name of Shia Berkowitz  i have 13 Berkowitz families and 3 with the first name shia but one is in the 1st grade one in kindergarten and one in 9th grade how would you prefer for me to find the 9th grade shia Berkowitz ?

Would be very hard. You would need to go thru the accounts. That is why student search wasn't here to begin with.

would you think it would make sense to added to the quick drop down search when you select include students next to the star Berkowitz Uri*- 9 so we know he is in the 9th grade ?

Not an option. It would more than triple the load time of the screen.

There is currently an option in the options menu to include Students in drop-down and the students name comes up Weiss, Shia* with a star after the name.
