Ifluenza Shot for children from 5 years

Question

Does anyone know if a child that's in pre school but he/she is already 5 years if its mandatory for he/she to take the influenza shot ?

Although most of the requirements are according to the grade, by the flu shot they only mentioned the age, so in this case its seems like its only mandatory for children up to 5 years of age.
