To mark lunch attendance can we have an option to mark a class total only- without indicating which students are missing since that is what is mandated? Also no indicating what time the info was entered.

No. We do not have such an option. Easiest way is just keeping an excel sheet.

Like we wrote in the answer, There is nothing to gain from entering it somewhere in the system. You can use a simple excel sheet.
