How do I find a specific check number that was entered recently?

I'm looking for a check that was entered but I don't know who I entered it under.  Do I need to make a query?  Where can I pull up a  list of recent checks with check numbers?

The easiest place is by the deposit screen. Make sure to check in Show Deposited so it will search also stuff that is deposited.
