export opening excel 365

Question

I am trying to export reports to excel. On one computer the report is only opening in excel 365 even though I never installed it nor do I use it. I have set all the defaults that I see to open excel desktop. Is there another setting I can change to fix this. I have tried to find 365 and uninstall it but can't seem to find it

I had the same issue on windows 10 machine. Basically figured out that if there are numerous versions of excel, there were issues. Uninstall all versions besides the one you want.

We just tell windows to open excel. Windows chooses which version to open. Contact your IT for help in finding excel and uninstalling.
