When pasting HTML code into the email form in Tuition it works as expected. In Fundraising, all the Hebrew turns into "?" marks.

it shouldn't, are you on the latest version and pasting it into HTML?

I have updated to the current version (1/15/24) and the problem still occurs.

I am pasting it into HTML Code.

Below is the comparison of what happens when pasting into fundraising vs pasting into tuition.

I have a similar, but different, issue.

I can see the Hebrew text from a dinner journal ad in JL.

But when I copy and paste it into Word, or Outlook, or Davka, it comes out gibberish.

Is that also a "Themes" issue?

How do I fix that?

How do you copy? ctrl-c or the menu?

The only difference I see between the 2 screenshots, is one you are using the themes and the other not.

Are they on the same computer?  Do you have the file Fundraising.Exe.Manifest

  • The differences are: the first from Fundraising displays question marks when pasting in the HTML code and the second from Tuition displays Hebrew (as highlighted).
  • I don't know what you mean by this: "... one you are using the themes and the other not." What are themes? (Note: the HTML pasted was the same. I was scrolled to a different line in the windows, which may have created confusion.)
  • They are on the same computer (my workstation) but the same happens on other workstations I tested. It also happens on the server.
  • The file "Fundraising.Exe.Manifest" exists in the setup directory on the server but not the workstation. The workstation has a Tuition.exe.manifest and PrintStatus.exe.manifest.

So copy the fundraising manifest too and see if you still have the problem.

Copied. No change. File version 5/14/2014.

Can you post both screens screen shots now.

Of course.

Try running once as administrator it should enable the manifest.

If you look on the email with smtp option you will see that in tuition it's blue and nice because it's using the windows theme. While in fundraising it's not.

This is required to be able to see the unicode.

I see your fundraising is still not using windows themes, please call me and I'll explain it to you, thanks.
