Could there be an attendance override system for when there is a change of schedule?

Can we have an option when taking attendance to not log in as the regular teacher and subject scheduled for that time, rather logging in as a substitute, which will then override what is normally in the schedule and replace it with what is selected (teacher and subject)? This will help with accuracy in the students attendance records, as there is often small schedule changes that are not permanent changes.

Why don't you make a new class for the substitute if its not part of the regular class attendance. Or a new marking type.

It happens too often and too last minute for that to realistically be able to be done each time.

Do not understand your answer. We have two ways of having a temp marking time. One is a new marking time marked temp. Or enter a temp class. So what will a third feature help.

Maybe we are just not aware of how to use these options that you mentioned.

the options you mentioned can work with the attendance portal used in the classrooms?

Do not know exactly which portal you purchased. But portal are customized for each school. It for sure can be customized to work with any of the options mentioned. You would need to contact sales for exact pricing.

Any feature we would add we would need to customize the website for it.
