Good afternoon,
So we were made aware of the feature to accept check by phone. It is done in the same area of the program as the credit cards.
You go to the note tab, on the bottom instead of going to the tab credit card you'll see a tab that reads checking. It works a little differently than ACH, with this program you would enter all the information from the check. And the check number the person would like to use. And the idea is to print the check and physically deposit the piece of paper. It looks almost like a regular check a donor would send in the mail. But instead of a signature. It says on the check that the signer authorized the organization to print the check.
But here is the bigger problem, and we hope to get this clarified. Since the check is printed on a piece of white copy paper Santander bank would not accept it. We tried to deposit it online with Fidelity and they wouldn't accept it either. They said it's not a check.
