We find it quite challenging to email report cards to parents. We send them to both parents; many families have multiple email addresses. Additionally, we need to send separate Hebrew and secular report cards, as each grade has its own version of the report card. For each parent, we send multiple reports for every student. (Besides code 2 parents) As a result, we are sending out thousands of emails.
Unfortunately, some report cards end up in spam folders, and there are instances where they don’t go through at all. We frequently receive feedback from parents stating they received a blank page, did not get the report cards, or missed our emails.
Could JL develop a page on our registration portal or a standalone portal where parents can download their report cards for each child separately in Hebrew and English?
This would help us avoid many of these issues. We could send our regular yeshiva communication email stating that a student's Hebrew or secular report card is available for download.
This may also be useful for PTA appointment letters.
This could benefit other schools as well.
