We had one of our affiliated Day Care Centers audited recently by the NYCDOHH. The auditor explained that while a child that may be missing shots, can work on a catch up schedule that when provided evidence of scheduled upcoming appointments with doctors letters along with the JL system for follow up, they won’t fine for that child, a child MUST Have at least the first shot of each series before being accepted to school. Technically even if a child receives this shot later on in the year, if the child attended school without this first shot it is a violation that cannot even be rectified by getting a shot which will be after the start of the school year. Therefore, as important it’s for yeshivas to constantly remind parents of missing shots, it is imperative that yeshivas make sure that children received at least the first of each series before the beginning of the school year and this should be a focus in the next few weeks.
Therefore, is there any way that we can have a report created that shows only missing the first of each series so that we can have an extra focus with letters, phone calls etc for these children?
Thanks,
