Is there an option to set in an individual account to exclude old balance when creating mass statements?

I also wish there cam be a place in a person's specific account to set the "Exclude Old Balance" feature and when the statements print it should recognize that account and not print any old balance

If you aren't billing him for it, what do you gain from having it on the account. You need to enter a write off. You can always at a later date remove the write off in the rare case he wins the lottery and is willing to still speak top you.

This is not a new feature that I'm asking for this is available in the Statement tab "Exclude Old Balance" which works great, so I'm asking if this can be set in individual accounts.
The idea that you gave to write off as a credit is also good and we do it already by some accounts, however with each individual there is a different way to work with and this would be very helpful, basically to see only the balance of the selected period that this statement represents not his total balance.
Additionally according to your idea that the only way is to write off why is there an option by individual accounts "No Statement" if there is any balance just write it off?
BTW the "No Statement" is not always the best option to select because this stops the statement printing from all companies, for example an individual that does not get a statement from School but is suppose to get a statement from Day Camp if his account is set on "No Statement" he will not get one.

Correct. No Statement means that this person doesn't need to receive a statement. Has nothing with his balance.
Also Exclude Old Balance from the statements removes all credits too. So if you use it for everyone it will not display his credit.

But the credit date can be on a date prior to this period so it will not make a difference.
So bottom line can this feature be added to individual accounts?

Will not add. Its either you write it off with a credit, or you keep billing him.
