Is there a way to query on which records have been updated during a specific time period?

Question

If I wanted to see how many students had a teacher and/or class change, or which students changed classes from the beginning of year year until now, how would I do so?  

I know that if I look at an individual record, right-click and view history it will show me what the history was, but how do I find which students have this history?  

And is there a way to limit the dates? (  I don't care about the updates that occurred before the year started, I would like to see what has happened since Succos)

There is a history report, that gives you all changes made between selected dates, there's also a Class History Report, if you don't have such a report you can open a private report ticket.
