What does the check off box "allow choosing any bus" mean?

Located in children tab under 'bus routes'.

It will allow you to put a child on a bus even if his class is not setup to go that time. For example if you have a 5th grader that doesn't go to English and goes home with the younger kids this is the way to add him to the route.
