auto shut off

is there a way to set up that the program should not shut off after few hour off not using it?

(as of now if i leave it open, when i come back after few hours it shut off).

Why do you want to leave it open? We close it because the back end needs to reset, and when its kept open for days on end it cannot reset itself and becomes slower and slower.

the reason i want it stay open is because i'm loading a report, and i know that i can save query and reports, but sometime we have to run out of office and coming back few hours later (or next day),

it doesn't make sense to need to save every time the report.

about the resetting issue, i think its enough if it will close after like 24 hours...
