You mark it as printed. If you are sending it thru mail merge you click Mark as Printed by the Sync tab. If by report you click Mark as Printed by the sort tab.

Then where would I find a copy of that printed letter?

And what if I'm not doing it through mail merge?

It doesn't keep a copy of the letter except if its a report that has a letter one account per page. It just keeps a record that this was sent and the time. The info can be seen in the correspondence tab under notes by each account.

Don't understand what you mean "And what if I'm not doing it through mail merge?" I wrote both options above mail merge or report.

If you mean that you have a word document that you are sending to someone and want to attach a record of it to his account you can use the attachment option.

When I look under Noes - Correspondence tab - what does the View button show me?  Will it show a copy of the letter that was merged. When I tried it, it showed me a random document then an error message.

I did the read the comments.  And I did send one letter per account.  Should it show me a copy of the letter?

In the above comment we wrote. "It doesn't keep a copy of the letter except if its a report that has a letter one account per page." So as you are talking about a mail merge not a report it does not keep a copy.

You can keep for yourself a copy of the final word documents.
