Correspondence Tab - speed it up

Is there a way to put a check box on the currespondence tab "Last year" that would limit the amount of information pulled so that the accounts load faster? or to index the table to accelerate its loading?

 

I am currently waiting over 3 minutes for an account to load.

It tuition it seems to be moving faster.  I haven't checked fundraising yet

Another BIG reason why the 'Correspondence' tab is slow, is because it loads hundreds of GPS records. Can you please switch the GPS checkbox from "Exclude GPS" to "Include GPS"? Like this, instead of having to load all the GPS data every time we click on 'Correspondence', it will rather exclude that data by default and we will be able to included it by clicking the "Include GPS" checkbox.

Maybe adding a dropdown with the following options of time to load the correspondence

for example

  • 1 week
  • 2 weeks 
  • 1 month
  • 3 months
  • 6 months
  • 1 year 

And by default it should be set at 1 week, it will probably increase the speeds much better, as of now now its vary vary slow and it bothers a lot.

Filtering the results will only make it slower. We reviewed both of the schools that posted issues and the core issue is that there isn't the required minimum of 64GB RAM on the server. We made some changes that it should work faster even without the RAM. But to get it to load in less than a second you would need to increase the RAM.

Did you hide the body column. That column takes a lot of time to load, as it needs to format all emails.

Yes, and it still took 3 mintues to load.  Due to the fact that we send many text messages and emails, this table is now millions of lines.

Is it possible to create two tables: 1) Current correspondence 2) Archived correspondence (that would have any communcation from more than 2 years ago)?  This would keep the current table to a manageable size.

Added checkbox to control the loading of the body. Only with the checkbox it will show the body.

How fast is it now?

I have the latest version and i dont see the body checkbox, can you post a screenshot?

Since the latest update it loads with a wrong sort date, the new ones are in the bottom and the old records are on top

When im opening JL and going to accounts > notes the default open tab is correspondence, so if i want to go to credit cards i need to wait 3 minutes till it stops freezing

Its possible to change the default tab to something else like the credit card tab?

In our tests it takes less than a second to load even 50 thousand records. I see both of you are working in the same mosod. As we do not have access to your server we cannot troubleshoot or check what is wrong.

The current version it should not take more than a second loading even 50,000 records.

I was just on a remote session with Tech-2 and showed him that it takes A LOT of time till it loads even with the latest version, we actually tried it directly on the server as well and it took the same long. You do have access to my server, can you please check it out. I will also add that I think that my previous comment - inserted below

should perhaps be worked on.

If you contacted support, they need to open a ticket.. But because you have a login I was able to check. Its seems like you did not update the fundraising application. First update it and do a database update. Then check in tuition if you still have the problem.

Contact support. The update was stopped in the middle by the end user. Posting here will not help. Keep following up with support until they correct the issue for you. Its nothing in the software that we can change. Support needs to take care of it.
